Having the right insurance in place for my business is vital in ensuring compliance and protecting us and our customers against a multitude of financial risks. We have teamed up with Rhino Trade Insurance as they are offering insurance tailored for Hetas installers, complementing the Hetas competent person schemes for installers of biomass and solid fuel heating, chimney sweeps and much more.
Insurance for businesses like mine comes in many forms, some of which wont actually cover the specific wordings required as a solid fuel engineer.

Remember, at HETAS they require that members carry a minimum of £2m Public Liability Insurance to operate as part of the competent person scheme.

Highly recommended. Our neighbours recommended Dane to install our multi fuel stove, having been one of his earlier customers. At our initial meeting Dane impressed us with his knowledge, enthusiasm and personable manner. He spent a lot of time checking measurements and ensuring that we were getting the right stove, as well as complying with all the safety regulations. Installation took a day, including relining the chimney, capping the chimney pots, levelling the hearth and installing hearth stones. He then tested the stove, installed a carbon monoxide monitor and cleaned up after himself. We are delighted with our new stove, and are pleased that the installation process went so smoothly thanks to Dane.

West Thames Fireplaces came recommended to us by some friends who were more than happy with the service and couldn’t recommend them enough. We made an enquiry and were helped by Dane, who from the outset was very helpful. Dane made a site visit, asked what we were looking for then took some measurements to work out what we would need and recommend products. He provided a very quick and honest feedback on what would and wouldn’t work for what we wanted with the ideas we had. Once we ordered a Stove Dane was able to quickly provide an installation dare to suit us. The installation was done with minimal disruption to anything else going on at home and with great care taken in the area they were working. The entire room was covered in sheeting and protected and everything was returned to precisely the way it was when they started.
We would highly recommend Dane and West Thames Fireplaces and already have done.
